Founder

Born and raised in Beijing, China, she began studying the erhu at an early age. At 13, she was admitted to the Affiliated Middle School of the Central Conservatory of Music, majoring in erhu performance. Four years later, she continued her studies at the China Conservatory of Music, earning her bachelor’s degree.

In 1989, she participated in the Chinese International Instrumental Competition and received the Outstanding Young Performer Award. In 1991, she was invited to the World Music Festival and International Musicians Invitational Competition in Detroit, where she was honored with the First Prize Special Award.

Between 1992 and 1999, she performed multiple times at prestigious venues including Lincoln Center, the United Nations, and New York City Hall. In July 1992, she was baptized in New York and became a devoted Christian.

In 1999, she released her debut solo album, Praise on Two Strings – Hymns of Grace, in the United States, which became widely popular both domestically and internationally.

In May 2000, she was called to become a full-time gospel musician. Guided by the Lord, she began traveling worldwide, sharing her musical testimony and collaborating with churches to spread the message of the Kingdom of God.

From 2005 to 2007, she received theological training at Faith Bible Seminary in New York. She graduated in June 2007 with a Master of Christian Ministry (Pastoral Studies).

Since 2000, she has released seven solo albums, achieving strong sales across North America, Asia, and Europe. She has collaborated extensively with symphony orchestras and contemporary jazz ensembles, receiving numerous accolades. She has held over 2,000 music evangelism events in more than 300 cities worldwide.

Through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit, many have come to faith in Jesus Christ. All glory and praise be to the Lord.

In April 2023, she was honored with the “Outstanding Artist Achievement Award” at the American Chinese Influential Figures Awards. She dedicates all glory and praise to her Lord and God.
