The story of this ministry began with God’s work in the life of a musician.
After experiencing God’s grace, Suzanne Z. Shu sensed a calling to dedicate her musical gifts to the Gospel, serving as a Gospel musician who shares faith through music and testimony.
In November 1999, she released her first praise album titled
“Praise on Two Strings: A Song of Grace and Glory.”
Featuring the erhu as the primary instrument, the album expressed praise and thanksgiving to God through the voice of a two-string instrument. This marked the beginning of Glory Music Ministry.
As the ministry grew, God also brought new co-workers into this calling, including Suzanne’s younger brother Shu Fang, a well-known music producer in China. After coming to faith in Christ, he began composing many moving and widely loved praise songs, dedicating his musical gifts to serving God.
What began with “two strings” gradually developed into a broader artistic ministry.
